How we write and check our content
Last updated
This page describes how we produce the guides, articles and marker pages on wellth.se, and what you can hold us to.
Who writes
Our content is written by Wellth AB (company no. 559111-9036). We write for people who want to understand their symptoms and results, not for health professionals.
We write short and clear. We say what we know, and we say when the evidence is uncertain.
Who checks
Every text is read and checked by the Wellth team before it is published.
Our sources
We rely on Swedish and international guidelines and published research. Examples are 1177, the Swedish Medical Products Agency, the Swedish Food Agency and NICE in the UK.
Reference ranges for blood tests come from the accredited laboratories that analyse your samples.
How often we update
We review each guide at least once a year, and sooner if guidelines change.
We sell what we write about
Wellth sells blood tests, health assessments and supplements, so many pages link to our own tests. We still write about what a blood test cannot show, and we say when a test is not needed.
Personal supplement recommendations are made by a practitioner who has reviewed your test results. They are never sent out automatically.
This is not medical care
Our content is general information. It does not replace an assessment by a doctor. If you have severe or sudden symptoms, call 112. For advice on where to get care, call 1177.
