Safety & good to know

InteractionHigh-dose biotin can interfere with some lab immunoassays (e.g. troponin, TSH) — pause before blood tests.
DirectionsAs a dietary supplement, 1 capsule one to three times daily with meals, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Discontinue use for 15 days before any lab test that uses (strept)avidin-biotin technology. Candidates include thyroid, cardiac, fertility, hormonal, bone metabolism, and other tests. Raised blood levels of biotin may interfere with results.
WarningsDo not use this product if the safety seal is broken or missing. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. High-dose biotin can interfere with some lab immunoassays (e.g. troponin, TSH) — pause before blood tests. Contains high-dose biotin, which can distort laboratory blood test results. Stop taking it at least 48 hours before a blood test and tell the laboratory you have used it.
