High doseFolate (as Quatrefolic® [6S]-5-methyltetrahydrofolate, glucosamine salt): 3400mcg DFE is above the EU upper limit of 1000 µg (folic acid + methylfolate; can mask B12 deficiency).
DurationHigh-dose folate is a defined course — rule out B12 deficiency first; step down once levels normalise.
