High doseVitamin A (as Mixed Carotenoids and Palmitate): 5560mcg RAE is above the EU upper limit of 3000 µg (preformed retinol; teratogenic above this in pregnancy).
High doseNiacin (as Niacinamide and Niacin): 100mg NE is above the EU upper limit of 35 mg (nicotinic-acid flush; liver at pharmacological doses).
InteractionPreformed vitamin A: not to be used above 3000 µg in pregnancy.
InteractionMay reduce the effect of warfarin/VKA anticoagulants — do not start without INR oversight.
InteractionHigh-dose niacin can cause flushing and, long-term, affect liver enzymes.
InteractionHigh-dose biotin can interfere with some lab immunoassays (e.g. troponin, TSH) — pause before blood tests.
InteractionSeparate from levothyroxine, iron and certain antibiotics by a few hours.
InteractionHigh-dose iodine can disturb thyroid function; caution with thyroid disease.
WarningsVitamin K affects blood clotting and can interfere with anticoagulant medicines such as warfarin. Speak to your doctor before taking it if you are on one. If you are pregnant or nursing, speak to your healthcare professional before taking this. Consult your healthcare professional if you take medications, or for any use by minors. Do not use this product if the safety seal is broken or missing. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Preformed vitamin A: not to be used above 3000 µg in pregnancy. May reduce the effect of warfarin/VKA anticoagulants — do not start without INR oversight. High-dose niacin can cause flushing and, long-term, affect liver enzymes.
