Safety & good to know

High doseVitamin A (as beta carotene): 4500mcg is above the EU upper limit of 3000 µg (preformed retinol; teratogenic above this in pregnancy).
High doseNiacin (as niacinamide): 125mg is above the EU upper limit of 35 mg (nicotinic-acid flush; liver at pharmacological doses).
High doseVitamin B6 (as pyridoxine hydrochloride): 30mg is above the EU upper limit of 12 mg (EFSA UL — peripheral neuropathy on prolonged high intake).
InteractionPreformed vitamin A: not to be used above 3000 µg in pregnancy.
InteractionHigh-dose niacin can cause flushing and, long-term, affect liver enzymes.
InteractionProlonged intake above the EU upper limit can cause reversible nerve symptoms — not for continuous long-term use.
InteractionSeparate from levothyroxine, iron and certain antibiotics by a few hours.
InteractionHigh-dose iodine can disturb thyroid function; caution with thyroid disease.
InteractionMay reduce the effect of warfarin/VKA anticoagulants — do not start without INR oversight.
DurationHigh-dose courses should be time-limited (weeks, not open-ended).
WarningsVitamin K affects blood clotting and can interfere with anticoagulant medicines such as warfarin. Speak to your doctor before taking it if you are on one. This product provides more than 12 mg of vitamin B6 per serving, the EU daily upper limit. Sustained intake above that limit can cause nerve symptoms in the hands and feet. Use short-term and under supervision. If you are pregnant or nursing, speak to your healthcare professional before taking this. Consult your healthcare professional if you take medications, or for any use by minors. Do not use this product if the safety seal is broken or missing. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Preformed vitamin A: not to be used above 3000 µg in pregnancy. High-dose niacin can cause flushing and, long-term, affect liver enzymes. Prolonged intake above the EU upper limit can cause reversible nerve symptoms — not for continuous long-term use. Separate from levothyroxine, iron and certain antibiotics by a few hours. High-dose iodine can disturb thyroid function; caution with thyroid disease. May reduce the effect of warfarin/VKA anticoagulants — do not start without INR oversight. Contains 30 mg of vitamin B6 per serving, above the EU upper intake level of 12 mg per day. Do not exceed the stated dose; take only under the guidance of a healthcare professional. Contains high-dose biotin, which can distort laboratory blood test results. Stop taking it at least 48 hours before a blood test and tell the laboratory you have used it.
